Youth Basketball Tournament
We will be hosting our 8th Annual Youth Basketball Tournament dates on February 20th & February 21st. This tournament has continued to grow each year, and has been a tremendous success. This tournament has a division for both boys and girls 4th through 8th Grades. For more information, follow the download link listed above.
Hershey Track Meet
The Wheatland Hershey Track Meet is a great event that is free to all boys and girls ages 9-14. This years meet will be held on Saturday, May 9th at the Wheatland High School Track. Participants must complete 3 events either 2 running events and 1 field event or vise versa. Participants will compete against their own age groups. Pre registration would be appreciated, but you can still register the day of the meet. The gates will be open at 8:00am. Winners in each division will be eligible to advance to the state meet. State host town is TBA.
Aquafina & MLB Pitch Hit and Run
This competition is also free to all boys and girls ages 7-14. Participants will throw at a target for accuracy, hit off a tee for distance and accuracy, then run 160ft. (second to home base) for speed. Pre registration would be preferred, but will accept participants on the day of the competition. The competition will be held at the Wheatland Baseball/Softball complex starting at 1:00pm on May 9th. Winners in each division are eligible to go to the state tournament that is held in Casper in early June. Winners at the state competition might have the opportunity to advance to the regional tournament which is held in Denver at Coors Field. If you are really good, you could find yourself at the Major League Baseball's All Star game.
Christmas Open Gym
December 29th through December 31st. We will be at West Elementary frp, 1-3pm. This program is open to all children in grades K-6. Come and join the fun.
Spring Break Open Gym
Spring Break open gym will be held on March 23rd through the 25th from 1:00pm till 3:00pm for children in grades K-6 at West Elementary. All kinds of games, all kinds of fun! This is free to all! Come and join in the fun.
4th Annual Run With the Wind 5K (Run, Jog, Walk, or Wog)
Saturday, April 24th, Come on out and join in the fun. Medals and Tee Shirts are awarded! Several different age categories.
